I look forward to see my past
I stare at my reflection
And reflect on where I’ve been
I’m here on the pathway of time
And I can’t gain one extra minute
Nor can I save one from the day gone
What I’ve lived, I’ve spent
And I can’t save any
I’ve had to use all
But have I done well
I’m in perpetual motion
Can’t stop or stay
Have to keep going, spending
Until there’s no more to spend
