Annie in Winter Wonderland Fantasy
Is is because I'm her mother that I think she's so beautiful? Nicely done by my other beautiful daughter, Sarah.

Little Red Riding Hood in Photoshop
Sarah (my oldest) is having fun with Photoshop. She took photos of Annie (my youngest) and added layers until she came up with these. Fun!

TAKING FLIGHT
With feathers ruffled, she stood quietly in the early morning fog.
She had promised herself that this day would be the beginning of newness in life - no more holding back - she would move forward - out of the fears and insecurities that held her back for too long.
She would soar with freedom and never look back. She would savor life as she had dreamed.
Again, she ruffled her feathers to shake the dew - and then, again to move the stiffness from waiting so long.
With a deep breath, she looked to the sky and without looking back, she lifted off, spreading her wings, she began her flight.

After visiting my blog, my baby sister felt inspired to write this for me. Thanks, sis, I love you!
How do I inspire you?
How can I persuade you to join in
To come closer to life
To dance in the rain when everyone stands still to watch it pass
To burst with joy at every new sunrise
To laugh at the funniness of life
And to feel, really feel when someone else hurts
You cannot be coerced
For an unwilling participant, becomes an unhappy participant
But I will show you how I live
And I will invite you to sing with me
And my song will become your song
And we can sing together
And laugh together; cry together
I will show you how much I love living everyday
And maybe, maybe you will be inspired to live your life
Maybe you won’t be afraid to enjoy the simplest pleasures
Then I have accomplished what I’ve meant to do
I’ve inspired you.

Life's Time by Eve Kelly
April 2, 2011
I look forward to see my past
I stare at my reflection
And reflect on where I’ve been
I’m here on the pathway of time
And I can’t gain one extra minute
Nor can I save one from the day gone
What I’ve lived, I’ve spent
And I can’t save any
I’ve had to use all
But have I done well
I’m in perpetual motion
Can’t stop or stay
Have to keep going, spending
Until there’s no more to spend
I look forward to see my past
I stare at my reflection
And reflect on where I’ve been
I’m here on the pathway of time
And I can’t gain one extra minute
Nor can I save one from the day gone
What I’ve lived, I’ve spent
And I can’t save any

Until there’s no more to spend

Happy Easter Everyone!
Hubby and I took a nice walk together on the nature trail today - both of us clicking away with our cameras. We don't have a lot of alone time, and it was so nice with all the peace and quiet - something we rarely have together. We captured Spring and, also some beautiful remnants of fall. The deer stood so still that they seemed almost unreal. Truly, "This is a day that the Lord hath made. We will rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24.

Chocolate Dessert Recipe
Here it is at your request ;O)
1 cup milk
1 1/2 cups thawed Cool Whip
30 Chips Ahoy Cookies
Pour one cup of milk into a medium bowl. Add 1 pkg., 4 serving size Jello-O Instant Pudding and Pie Filling. Beat with wire wisk until well blended (2 min). Gently stir in Cool Whip. Spread about 2 tsp pudding mixture onto each cookie. Begin stacking cookies together, standing on edge on serving platter to make a log. Frost with remaining pudding mixture. Top with raspberries and chocolate disks (disks are made drizzling melted chocolate chips in a circular lacy pattern onto wax paper until cool. Once cooled, remove from wax paper and place atop cake). Refrigerate 4-5 hours before serving.
Use your imagination and experiment with other types of cookies and pudding flavors! Yummy!

♥♥♥ Chocolate Dessert ♥♥♥
Thought I'd try this chocolate, raspberry dessert recipe for dinner today. They say that you should never try a new recipe on guests, but it actually turned out to be one of those wonderful surprises - you know - the kind that makes you move the cool, refreshing, chocolaty goodness around on all of your taste buds before swallowing. Everyone loved it! :O) !♥

Ice Balloons
On my way to work, I saw these balloons hanging on a post - obviously the remnants of someone's celebration. They were covered in ice from a recent winter storm. Knowing they would melt as the day wore on, I stopped and took pics.

A Cup of Coffee Shared With a Friend is Happiness Tasted and Time Well Spent
It's freezing cold outside and I haven't had the courage to venture out, but that's ok, I was able to get this painting/collage done. The collage paper at the very top looks much better in real life, and if you click on it for a close up; it looks better, too. Hope you like it!

Coffee Collage/Taste and See That the Lord is Good
I've been working on this collage on gallery wrapped canvas today. It isn't quite finished yet, but this is it for now. You can click on it to read the verse (Taste and see that the Lord is Good)and to get a better view. I'll post more photos when the sides are done. Thanks for stopping by. See you later!
