I am thoroughly convinced that my husband makes the best frappe ever! He has come up with a wonderful recipe better than any I have EVER tasted! I had one this morning with my toast, and it was yumaaay!
I just finished this fabulous knitted pidge scarf. I just love it! It is so warm and cuddly, and not to mention - stylish! I think I will keep this one for myself ;O)

Whispers from the past bringing memories from when I was a little girl, when I could only look at these things and dream of having them. I would watch with concentrated interest as my older sister would slide the tiny lever on the side of her shiny, gold lipstick tube upward until the pretty, lipstick appeared at the top of the tube. She formed an "o" with her mouth and patted the dreamy color onto her lips and then rubbed and twisted them together until the lipstick was evenly spread across. As I watched, I became so caught up in the process that my mouth automatically formed an "o" as well. For beautiful curls, damp hair was wound around spoolie hair curlers and worn for hours. Then there were the catalogs with gorgeous dresses with can-can flared bottoms, nylon overlays of pink, blue and yellow, with rhinestone earrings clipped on. Evening in Paris was placed on a pinky finger and then elegantly dotted behind each ear -oh the glamour of it all.....
I bought these cute pink, glass bunnies a long time ago at a garage sale. Some things you just keep forever. The pink hat boxes, I picked up during my ramblings here and there. I love pink - can you tell? ;O)
I wanted a potting shed so badly - a little get-away - somewhere to sit and muse. I found a pattern on the internet that I liked and showed it to my husband. He took a look at it and said, "I don't need a pattern - I can do that". The next thing I knew, he had it done - What a nice surprise! Thanks honey!
There's something about that smile - it gets me every time! Recently, Sarah took Kohen to the Arboretom, and when he saw the cattails growing there he said, "Look mom,corn dogs!"
I love this photo of my daughter, Sarah and her son Ashton. She is always looking for fun things to do with her boys - whether it be looking for frogs in the pond at the local arboretum or something as simple as blowing on a dandelion.
